Application
TRUKALIN KC can be applied in the soaking process in order to avoid the formation of blood stains (caused by iron). The recommended dosage is 0.1 - 0.3 %, based on salted weight.
To reduce the possibility of lime blast 0.2 - 0.5 % TRUKALIN KC,based on salted weight, is added to the wash float after liming. The quantity to be added depends on the conditions in the tannery (period and manner of storage of pelts, hardness of water, etc).
The danger of formation of lime blast in the CO2-deliming can be avoided by adding
0.2 - 0.3 %TRUKALIN KC, based on pelt weight, at the beginning of the CO2-process.
To prevent iron stains on vegetable-tanned leathers, 0.5 - 1.0 % of TRUKALIN KC, based on pelt weight, is given before adding the vegetable tanning agents.
