Properties and applications

TRUPON TBN is very easily emulsified with 3-4 times its weight of water at 50-60ºC, obtaining highly stable opal emulsions.

TRUPON TBN emulsifies 20-30 % its own weight in raw oil ( TRUPON PB, TRUPON PBE or TRUPON CST).

Leathers fatliquored with TRUPON TBN show a good lubrication coupled with spring and full roundness.

Woolskins fatliquored with TRUPON TBN show sheen and gloss, with a marked writing effect.

In woolskins and buffed leather, TRUPON TBN used as a final top, enhances the dyeing without showing oiliness and consequently a marked writing effect and a wet handle are achieved.

Leathers fatliquored with TRUPON TBN show an excellent behaviour to buffing.

Dyeings after fatliquoring with TRUPON TBN are clear, even and bright.

TRUPON TBN shows excellent results for full grain leather on small and bovine leather.

Storage Stability: TRUPON TBN can be stored for up to one year, if temperatures below 5ºC and above 40ºC can be avoided. On prolonged storage or extremes of temperature TRUPON TBN may exhibit some settlement which can be rectified by stirring the product thoroughly before use.
